Russia, one of the world’s greatest superpowers and global contributors is a leading power in the military, smarts and creativity. Folk stories run out the ears of every elder in Russia and so do local traditions of dining and religious practices. Here are some more inventions that Russia has contributed to the world. Aleksander Stolevov created the solar cell, which traps light and converts it to energy. Russia has many more scientific advancements, here are a few. Dmitri Mendeleev created the periodic law and formulated his own table of elements. Alexander Popov created wireless technology. Alexander Butlerov thought of the theory of chemical structure which is a theory in how the arrangement of molecules and atoms in how a chemical formula is made. Nikolay Pirogov created schools of anaesthesia meaning that this lead to further research to create anaesthetics during surgery.
