Disarranged eating or eating disorder is common in our way of life often it is also called intermittent consumption. It can shift in weight from mellow to crazy. Square dietary problem assesses a variety of conditions as well as sensitivity to food use, weight, and appearance. This obsessive focus causes multiple problems in the everyday life of a person. An individual, however, should have every untidy uptake and mentally unsettling impact to be sure to have an eating problem. Although these conditions are treatable, eating disorders can still cause several problems that oftentimes lead to the mental illness of an individual.

There are two major types of Eating Disorder which are Anorexia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder. Anorexia nervosa is a condition to which a person has an abnormally low body weight and binge eating, on the other hand, is the continuous consuming of meals all at the same time. While often spoken of as an isolated issue, anorexia nervosa and pigging out chaos are all part of an all-encompassing, larger issue of eating disorders dictated by mental mutilations. Specifically, a common overvalued belief in the advantages of thinness, typically paired with excessive fatness anxiety and often associated with body image distortion (Andersen and Yager, 2009). Dietary issues are a serious health concern that can have long-term effects on well-being if left untreated. Nobody knows the exact cause of eating problems, but they commonly seem to exist in tandem with psychological and medical troubles such as low confidence, depression, anxiety, emotional concerns, and drug abuse.

Eating problems are intricate conditions that are influenced by the utilization of a variable component. While all the expressed reason for eating issues is indistinct, a combination of biological, psychological and environmental factors is generally assumed to contribute to the development of these issues. Some of the most influential psychological risks associated with the creation of an eating condition include physical discomfort, low self-esteem, perceived thin stress, internalization of the slim-ideal and the use of food to cope with negative feelings (Homan, 2010; Masheb andGrilo, 2006; Smith, 2010; Stice, 2010). One of the biological factors that may cause a persons’ food consuming problem is irregular hormone or genetic inheritance that has to be predisposed to having an eating disorder. The second factor is physiological whereas an individual has a distorted view of body weight or shape which usually causes a person to have poor self-confidence. Lastly, when a person’s profession or social life encourages the notion of being slim and having the perfect body image, the environmental factor arises.

Most of the time, the first thing we consider if a person has an eating disorder is when their physical appearance changes. For people with anorexia nervosa, they usually deprive themselves of every single food they eat, which causes them to lose a significant amount of body weight, and their mentality is that for them to look better physically, they must be hindered from eating food with a high amount of calories. On the other hand, people with binge eating disorder will eat much faster than normal, and they always feel criticized and guilty about how they eat, which also causes depression towards these individuals. Since both anorexia nervosa and binge eating disorder may be associated with failure to normalize eating habits, behavioral modification therapy is widely used to reverse or eliminate many of the worst aspects of these eating disorders (Attia and Walsh 2009)

Overall, it is important to completely understand the causes of disordered eating or dietary issues and how it negatively impacts a person, as this enables people to determine what kind of professional medication or treatment they need to take to recover their weight back to normal. Also, it will be a great way to prevent these conditions from arising by fully knowing these causes since people with eating disorders are at high risk of suicide and other mental problems such as disruptive behavior as it affects one’s quality of life.
