According to the Institute for College Access and Success, 66% of students; described as 1.3 million college students graduate with debts due to student loans, 0.9 million suffered with it in 2004. And as such bright and talented individuals, it isn’t right for them to go through more than they should after college. The topic of college and the tuition prices can be controversial, due to different arguments between the government paying the colleges versus U.S. citizens. For the reasoning is due to motivation, success, and graduated student numbers at the end of each year. But, the topic can easily become proven that college should be paid for by the government. The U.S. government should pay for college because, it would improve the economy, give more opportunities for students to have the life they dream to achieve, and decrease the number of students that get lifelong debt.To illustrate, having the government pay for colleges would improve the economy the reason being, it can allow students to focus on their goals rather than debt, and increase the amount of students in the workforce. “Reducing college costs isn’t only good for students, it also makes good economic sense for the nation. That’s because allowing all of the most talented Americans to go to college, regardless of their ability to pay, means the U.S. will have the best-trained workforce in the highly competitive global economy” (Cuamo). Which would negatively affect the economy, without debt, it couldn’t be that way of their dreams.

To describe variantly, government paying for college can make college graduates happier, and successful through their talents. “People would have more freedom to contribute their talents, try new ideas & pursue the lives that they want if they didn’t have to start off in debt or stay stuck in

The topic of college and the tuition prices can be controversial, due to different arguments between the government paying the colleges versus U.S. citizens. For the reasoning is due to motivation, success, and graduated student numbers at the end of each year. But, the topic can easily become proven that college should be paid for by the government. The U.S. government should pay for college because, it would improve the economy, give more opportunities for students to have the life they dream to achieve, and decrease the number of students that get lifelong debt.

To illustrate, having the government pay for colleges would improve the economy the reason being, it can allow students to focus on their goals rather than debt, and increase the amount of students in the workforce. “Reducing college costs isn’t only good for students, it also makes good economic sense for the nation. That’s because allowing all of the most talented Americans to go to college, regardless of their ability to pay, means the U.S. will have the best-trained workforce in the highly competitive global economy” (Cuamo). The evidence illustrated in this topic is shown that talent can be able to improve our economy. And give them opportunities at a steady life, without the weight or pressure of debt in the student. Which would negatively affect the economy, without debt, it couldn’t be that way of their dreams.

To describe variantly, government paying for college can make college graduates happier, and successful through their talents. “People would have more freedom to contribute their talents, try new ideas & pursue the lives that they want if they didn’t have to start off in debt or stay stuck in a low-wage. That could lead to happier, more prosperous nation as a whole” (‘Should College Be Free? Pros, Cons, And Alternatives’). The description of this has shown that graduates can trail into a better or more steady life without limiting themselves from their true potential due to debt from college. And should allow them to take care of themselves and achieve their dreams, rather than scrap and save and make sure nothing can cause them to lose anything and never allow them to live freely.

Consequently, colleges should be paid by the government, so it can decrease the number of students that suffer with debt, and let them live their own lives. “The average student today graduates from college $37, 172 in student loan debt, for graduate & professional students is significantly higher. People facing that kind of debt, often do not have a lot of money to contribute to the economy. Our total student loan debt in this country is $1.48 trillion, which is far more than credit card debt (1.023 trillion). If people did not have such massive student loan debt, they could buy houses, buy consumer items & contribute more to the economy” (Kurfiss). The presented evidence support the claim, it being that these young graduates could achieve more than being held back from student loans, and shouldn’t even be considered to spend trillions of dollars in our country each year. And having the government pay for colleges in the U.S. it would greatly decrease the amount of students who live through debt would be less of a problem within the young minds.

Admittedly, making the government pay for colleges would cause most students to slack off or decrease the number of graduates rather than decrease the amount of students in debt in the U.S. However, students who don’t take the opportunity for granted can raise the number of graduates, due to some dropping out from the tuition. And it can more or so, motivate a majority of people to take it seriously, although some may take it for granted, the amount is extremely low though.

If colleges were paid by the government, it would better our community. For the three simple reasons being, it would better our economy, assist students to achieve their dreams, so they don’t get held back, and decrease the amount of citizens who suffer through debt in the U.S. To have students with the potential of improving our society as a whole, to be pushed back and worry about debt rather than improving themselves and make them able to bring their work into the light. And the fact that students shouldn’t have to suffer through with such a grudge of it, it’s unacceptable for them to be forced into the life of fear of low-wage jobs if they don’t find a way to make enough money to pay the debt. A majority of expressive minds are chained by it, it cannot be supported for the simple reason as it would negatively affect the minds of the graduates who have already worked so hard to get as far as they did.
