Young people need to build relationship and strengthens interaction with people

Relationships are at the heart of what youth need to learn, grow, and increase.

We, young people are always about judgmental, when there’s one new person in the class; we tend to judge them based on their appearance, beliefs, and wealth. We don’t intend to focus on their inner feelings but outside of the person, instead of finding a way to become their friend and get to know them first. Finding a good friend is hard; we want others to be like us, having so many things in common and do things together. Its all about ‘you and me’ need to follows same path together. However, people change, people don’t stay the same, we may have so many promises but those promises one day will become ‘nothing’ as if those promises aren’t existed. One day, our friendship will fall apart, different school, personality change, different place, different you and different path, different story. Jesminder and Thomas show how they interact with people by making new friends and in a new group of people. What makes a relationship developmental? If you want to find a good influential friend you need to first discover who they are, develop abilities to shape their own lives; and learn how to engage with and contribute to the world around them.

Some young people face serous challenges and barriers in life and in society. Sometimes we lack confidence, self esteem and insecure of what people going to say about you. If we want young people to develop relationship and strengthen interaction with people, they need to grow, learn and thrive. As a parent, teacher, coaches, program leaders and other adults need to focus attention on building and strengthening relationship in young people’s lives. Meaningful relationships are characterized by a dynamic give and take that shapes who we are as we grow, change, and encounter new challenges and circumstances.
