America’s most controversial women of the ’50s and 60’s decade and the first ‘It girl’ – Norma Jean Mortenson (Baker), whom the whole world knows as Marilyn Monroe had a very alluring smile from the beginning especially when she turned a teenager. Her smile captivated the hearts of many until now, the more I write about her beauty the less. From the beginning of time till the end her life story is a mystery and she had stayed in controversies because of it, that even after fifty years of her death new articles and news kept on coming in. She had a rough and tough childhood as she lived in an orphanage and multiple foster homes, where her mother kept on visiting her. She was known as an orphan until the news leaked out of her mother being alive and their meetings when she became a film star. Her mother Gladys Baker was a schizophrenic patient even at the time Norma was born, she had a very complicated life of her own and she was often hospitalized because of her mental health condition and manic episodes, but whenever she used to be freed from the hospital she used to spend time with her daughter, she used to take young Marilyn to the Hollywood sets as well. For your knowledge let me tell you that Marilyn’s mother outlived 22 years more than her daughter. Later after she had achieved immense heights of success her past didn’t separate from her and she fell on the path of her mother, she started gaining psychiatric illness because of her past, her mother’s condition and abusive childhood, for that matter she used to visit psychiatrists, just like her mother, which was also a reason of her death, she died of the drug overdose at the age of 36. At the time of her death her housekeeper informed the star’s doctor who came and broke through her room’s widow eventually finding her naked and dead while she was still holding on to the phone. Now yet again there are several conspiracy theories about her death as well as she had affairs with the President of USA John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert Kennedy as they were skeptical about being exposed by the Queen of Hollywood. Just a few months later, John F. Kennedy was assassinated by gunshots.

At the age of 16 when Marilyn wanted to escape from being transferred back to another foster from her aunt’s place because of her aunt’s health so she dropped out of high school and married her high-school sweetheart neighbor James Dougherty a 21-year-old guy. Their marriage lasted four years and they got divorced in 1946. The reason was as Norma started working as a model and she had her first film signed up her husband didn’t want her to take a career like that or do a job but Norma a girl with big dreams was already venturing her way to become the legend – Marilyn Monroe. Norma started working at the factory where she was discovered by the photographer, Andor Dienes, then she was photographed by David from where her modeling career began. She was seen on the covers of magazines including Playboy. She signed up for her first film with 20th Century Fox and Columbia Pictures, which gave birth to a new girl – Marlin Monroe – as she believed turning her hair blonde would make her look more acceptable by adding sultry red and bold lipstick and slightly wavy short hair. Over the course of two years, she became a popular actress with minor roles that when the scandal of her nude photos came out and she got unemployed she covered it very strategically that she was poor and unemployed to survive as-well her public demand was quite overwhelming that she had to be taken back in the pictures. She became the uprising’s first most famous sex symbol yet she is an icon. She always stayed in the news in her times and even after her death pictures, news, articles, quotes, etc. keeps on floating around. In 1954 she established her own production company and the same year she married for the second time to a baseball player Joe Di Maggio. Their marriage lasted for only 8 months, Marilyn’s white halter dress by William Travilla for the film poster of the famous movie seven years of itch, is the ultimate reason, whereas men cherished those pictures women were heard saying ‘what Marilyn has what other women don’t give but they prefer not to show’. At that time when women were showing a little Marilyn was showing a lot more than others, ahead of her time.
