In Nova Scotia, this procedure is banned 10 years before due to public demand. it is banned due to the studies conducted in 2004, In the studies, it says that it creates a good amount of groundwater contamination.

Economy

It increases the economy by giving job opportunities, there will be wide job opportunities in hydraulic fracturing areas and this will be an opportunity for both skilled and non-skilled labours, this will also increase the income of the society and the price of the land will also increase. There will be a huge profit increase to the chemical industry due to the chemical demands in hydraulic fracturing.

It has a negative impact on the environment than a positive impact.

it will increase the quality of air as natural gas is clean one

There will be a less amount of loss of water

Negative

· To conduct this procedure land is required and this will lead to deforestation and due to this many of the animals and birds will lose their home and habitats, it will cut down many of trees due to this the absorption of carbon dioxide by trees will be reduced moreover that it will destroy the microorganism which enriches the soil.

• Absorption of contaminated water will make us ill,
• it will make some seismic events and this can cause earthquakes and it can be dangerous or may not be dangerous.
• it will produce heavy noise while operating the machines and this can affect older people some of them can get a heart attack and some of them can get ear problems it also can affect the eardrum of the workers who work in the site.

Climate change

• Due to deforestation and the increased amount of greenhouse gas it is seen that the temperature of earth is increasing 2 degree Celsius per year
• The changing ecosystem will leads to climate change
• The released hydrocarbon and aluminium oxide will also be responsible for this climate change

As this gives wide job opportunity this will attract people of other nations for a better career or to study the working of hydraulic fracturing. The students from a various place for their projects will get to know more about hydraulic fracturing and can understand the positive and negative impact of hydraulic fracturing
