Orpah Gail Winfrey was born on January 29th, 1954 now I know you might think that I misspelled her name but her real name is actually Orpah. After people kept mispronouncing it as Oprah the nickname just stuck.

Some of her accomplishments also include starting oxygen media, her production company “Harpo productions”, winning 17 daytime Emmy Awards, and giving millions to charity, and much more. From 1986 to 2011 Oprah Winfrey ruled daytime television. Her endeavors in the world of business and willingness to give around the world always gave Oprah the honor of being a leader in the African American community.
