Marginalise – to treat a person or group of people as insignificant or worse depending on their race, gender, religion, size, wealth, etc.
There was once a great man named henry who had no money. He was living on the streets of new york where there was little to no empathy from others. Henry was in dire need of help from people because he was starving and unable to make any money. People would be rude to him and tell him to ‘get a job’. Henry was depressed and tired. He found it hard to sleep at night because he was always thinking about how he would survive the next day.
One day a very kind man named Kyle was passing by Henry when he saw how skinny and malnourished he looked. Kyle was horrified when he saw the state of Henry and the other homeless people in the city of new york. Kyle wanted to do something, he didn’t just want to stand by and watch as all these people’s lives were being lost. Kyle thought long and hard about what he could do with little to no ideas. Kyle felt defeated, he didn’t know what he could do for henry and the other homeless people in new york, until one fine sunny day in manhattan.
