Sunrise and sunset takes place every day. In the Bible in the book of Luke 1:78-79 it proclaims “Because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” The sunrise is a symbolization of many things. God adheres us mercy, and his creation of the sunrise sustains us light and hope even in the midst of darkness and suffering. When you gaze at the sunrise and sunset it provides a peaceful outlook, and the depiction of God is present. It is the representation to begin or end another day. The bad days promise good ones, the good days promise even better days. God always reveals himself in so many ways. The sunrise is engulfed with God in it. God reminds us of who we are, and who he is. God gives us valor, and he allows us to face another day to follow in Jesus’ footsteps. We are called to be hopeful, and to work towards the future God organized for us. Our spirituality has given us traditions and a structure that is programmed to preserve things. The sunrise is a perseverance. It’s beauty and comfort is a reminder that all living things praise God.

You can always count on the sun to rise and set. In the book of Lamentations 3:22-23 it states “The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue , fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise”. The sunrise assures that God is always present in everyday life. When situations sometimes abstian to go our way, we have a hard time seeing all that God is. God is right where he belongs, in the heart of the earth, in our minds and in our hearts. As God’s children we should never allow such stormy clouds of doubt and fear turn us away from our creator. After all as it says in the book of Luke 1:78 “Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven”. The sunrise is a sign of life from heaven, the Kingdom of God that we should strive to be apart of.

The sunrise is predictable it’s always there, even when the clouds are blocking the sunlight, we know the sun is right behind it ready to shine the next day. In this similar way we can always count on God to keep his promise to us. God is always working behind the scenes whether we glimpse it or not. In the book of Jeremiah 1:12 God told Jeremiah “ I am watching over My Word to perform it”. Our God is forever faithful to us as we should also be towards him.
