Introduction

In the current advanced and fast-growing world finding your ideal job can become a challenge however it is not impossible, I am currently studying in university and after I graduate, I plan to find work in the field that interests me. it is essential to choose an occupation field that you are studying for and attempt to accomplish every one of the aptitudes for the chosen field. My chosen ideal job is Business Analyst as I feel one of my strongest ability is analytical thinking, I am good at planning and organising and I believe Business Analyst will be a rewarding position. I also believe that it is a position where I will be able to excel and make progress in my career. After I graduate, I would like find employment in Barclaycard as a Business Analyst as I have received very good reviews for this company from their current employees, there are plenty of progression routes within the company, also they are thriving in the field they operate in.

Business Analyst job description:

To become a Business Analyst, I need to increase all the knowledge, aptitudes and experience referenced above. I am gathering vital information, abilities and experience on this activity post. My degree and entry level position program will assist me with achieving all the necessary abilities, encounters and information. Business Analyst role is an integral part of the operation for a company therefore It will always be necessary for a business to have a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst role is continually advancing and changing particularly as organizations depend more on information to prompt business activities. Each organization has various issues that a business expert can address, regardless of whether it’s evolving innovations, broken procedures, poor customer or consumer loyalty. I believe there will be more demand for a Business Analyst in the future as businesses will want to be ahead of their competitors therefore requiring a Business Analyst. Also, as the world evolves there are more new businesses launching and more will continue to appear in the future which will ensure the necessity of a Business Analyst consequently creating more job opportunities for future candidates. I will keep a look out for open days, career fairs and networking events relating to my ideal job and whenever its available I will attend with a fully completed CV. I will also search on internet websites e.g. indeed.com where I will set notifications for alerts, so I get a message when there is a job available that matches my criteria. I will create a Linkedin profile where I can include details about my work and experience which will enable me to search for vacancies also it will mean that potential employers can find me when they are searching for potential personnel. I will also register with Adecco recruitment agency so they can find my ideal job for me. I will use the internet and social medial e.g. Facebook, to research on companies that are offering employment positions for my ideal job.

Conclusion

It is important to establish what profession you want start your career in as well as be skilled and qualified in that specific field, also improve on basic employability skills such as communication, interpersonal, time management, organisation skills, problem-solving etc. you need to analyse the job description and person specification to acknowledge whether the role is what you are looking for. I have set my self a goal in order to achieve my ideal job for which I am studying and carrying out research to discover more about this role and the future prospects. I am also aware of all the resources available to me and how to use them to facilitate my job-finding process.
