To maintain a thriving and healthy lifestyle, people tend to undergo certain steps one of which is to maintain a nutritious balanced diet providing adequate amounts of nutrients necessary for this lifestyle. One of the aspects people rely on for the fulfillment of this healthy diet is the consumption of organic food. Organic food is nutriment produced or grown without the use of synthetic chemicals. This type of food has a major impact on people’s well-being as well as the environment.

Organic food is good for our health for many reasons. One of the main reasons, is that it lacks chemicals by having fewer pesticides such as herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides widely used in conventional agricultural that remain in and on the food. Second, it is fresher; it doesn’t contain preservatives to last longer, it is often produced on smaller farms near where it is freshly sold. Moreover, it is richer in certain nutrients; results of a study show that levels of certain nutrients are up to 50 percent higher in organic food than in conventionally produced versions. Organic food helps in preserving health care. It decreases the risk of heart disease by eating healthier food.

On the other hand, Organic food helps the environment. Reducing pollution has been practiced by organic farming. As they support more biodiversity. They also practice to conserve water, decrease oil erosion and higher soil fertility by using less energy. Farming without pesticides has been better for animals specially birds. Organic farmers lower the risk of the environmental especially of humans and animals to be exposed to toxic materials since they practice the maintenance and improvement of fertility and soil structure and biodiversity. The major problems of some of the farming organic is the lack of awareness, low yields, high input costs and etc.. Since it’s less productive and worse for the government, organic farming has been hard to introduce. Meanwhile the government can’t forbid chemicals because everything is a chemical. Organic farming has many aims such as conservation in the environment, improving soil fertility, sustainable agriculture, increasing genetic diversity and putting an end to chemical pollution. After some research they have found that organic farming can feed the world as it can compete with conventional yields.

In conclusion, it is hard to stop inorganic food but the benefits that the organic food has on our health and on the environment are evidences to people to increase the organic agriculture that is better than the conventional. This depends on people, farmers, and the government.
