Why Barack Obama is important

Barack Obama was one of the most beneficial presidents to help the black community while he was in office. One of Barack’s most memorable events that happened to him was when he became the first black president. My background knowledge of Barack is that he is 58yrs old, he went to Harvard Law School, and that his presidential term was January 20- 2009 through January 20-2017. What he did so he could benefit the community/the country he made Obama care. Causing people to get affordable health care. Even though while he was in office, he failed to make healthcare free.

What helped him become President

What was able to help Barack Obama so he could become president was that he went to Harvard Law School so he would be able to learn about politics. Barack also served as an Illinois state senate. So when he started to run for president he supports by the black community causing him to beat John Mclain so he could become president. He also did a lot of motivational things while in office to win a Nobel prize to be a president for two terms. He ended making a lot of acts to prevent certain things from happening like the hate crime to prevent hate crimes. What Barack was able to do while he was in office was to make people have hope so that anyone can be president no matter what race and who you are.

Barack’s legacy as being the 44th president and being the first African American president won’t be forgotten. Even people like Nikki Grimes who made a book about Barack Obama causing her to win a Coretta Scott award. Barack Obama started to inspire so many people in his presidency by making people believe that anyone could change or help the world. His black presidency made people look at him as a motivational pioneer. Barack was able to be president for two terms with the support of his community. Obama was able to accomplish some great things while in office like making the Obama act that helped the country while he was still in office.

Barack’s last moments as President

When Obama was about to finish his second term he made a speech on January 10, 2017, speaking and addressing certain things when he was president. During his speech, he was able to say “that during his presidency he was able to keep the U.S. the strongest and wealthiest and most powerful respected nation” and how he was able to do certain things to help the community and the citizens. Having the Obama act does stop the racial diversity and the lowering cost of healthcare. So when he was president he was able to talk about the good and the bad things he did and him talking about what he supported in the 2018 election. Even though he made history by becoming president he was able to use his old experiences as a person to a president to make certain laws when he was president.
