My Experience of Using Work Ethic in High School: Reflective Essay

Using Academics, goal setting, and success will help you through the course of your life. There all cross with your present and future. All of those listed connect because your life changes overtime but that doesn’t mean your goals will, until you reach them at least. If I create at least 2 goals to start out with academically will help create success in my life in the present and future, both impactful.

Using my grades and my work ethic in class will help me in the future with job interviews and learning rights and wrongs in life but also school life and social life. I want to go into the diesel auto field, probably a diesel technician there’s a few colleges I’ve looked at. Grades are extremely important, along with the work ethic they would see, but grades only show on transcripts, i would have to show my work ethic through my goals I have achieved in high school and show them I’m worthy for the school, and to stay on top of my grades through all the years I’m in college and just not a slippery slope or not try freshman year and then try sophomore to senior year, all effort all years.

Personal goals are also extremely important to success in current and future, goals are what will drive me to get good grades, whether it’s work ethic on getting a head start on assignment and not rushing them, good habits in attendance and behavior are also extremely important colleges look at everything. My goals are to have a B average on all my assignments, nothing lower, I’d ideally like to get A/Bs to A’s in college, The Diesel automotive field isn’t the easiest to learn or to keep up with, it can be completed, math is very important in the field. Another goal of mine is to have a clean attendance and behavioral record to show I’m dedicated to learning about the field of work I want to go in. Currently in high school is to pick certain grades up to where I want them to be, and maybe do AP classes in the years coming to it will look good on my transcript when colleges look at it to see if they’ll accept me.

In the past I never thought about Personal goals, the hardest time I had in school was 7-8th middle school years, distractions were so much of the cost of wasted time, another goal I have is to stop wasting time and not doing assignments last minute, late assignments won’t look good to colleges when they’d see that they’d think I wasn’t responsible. Soon as I get into my goals staying in the routine won’t be very hard, I’d become wanting to get good grades and it wouldn’t feel too much as a job more as something I’d want to do, which is very important to me.

In conclusion, My high school grades work ethic, attendance and behavioral recording are important to my success and goals in my present school career through college and job, and a long career in my field of work.
