Evaluation of the website

As I have finished my website and testing now I am going to evaluate my website and see if it has met the client requirements. My client wanted specific things to be on the website they’ve wanted. They wanted things like multimedia, outlines of different games and genres, what platform it can be played and review how good the game is a rating also they wanted the website to be consistent and make sure it is suitable for the target audience they have chosen and it meets the specific target audience.

I have met the client brief on rating the games and talking about it like how good it is and talking about what platform it can be played on I have evidence for this as I will show you:

I also talked about what platform it can be played on and I also had a page and the page name for this with a video as well so your audience can enjoy it and be interested in the video. I have evidence for this:

I’ve got the name for devices [platforms] as it focuses on the as my client wanted.

I’ve also got a video on different platforms where you can play games on and the video makes it look more consistent and that’s what my client really wanted so it looks professional

My client wanted my website to look consistent so now I am going to review the pages I have not shown and explain it also I am going to give evidence to show that it looks consistent not just on one page throughout all pages so my clients target audience gets interested in it straight away and engaged in it as they want to look on more throughout out all the pages.

This is the home page I have made it look interested for the audience by not putting much writing on as my client wanted and there are pictures of games that are the most popular not just in the UK but the whole world and I put a game picture so the audience have a better understanding what this website is all about. Also, I have added multimedia as my client asked me to do like the scrolling text and navigation bar these two multimedia assets are across all pages so it looks consistent.

On this page, I have made it all about games and different genres with no writing so my audience is interested in it as you can see I have made a line of game genres and listed different pictures of games and on one of them I have added a rollover so I have listed the different game genres as my client asked me to do.

On this page, I have got details about your website as social media bars which are mainly for this page but they are on all pages across the full website. Also, I’ve added a form as my client wanted and I have added competition and the good news is that the form works and all the details about the competition are given.

I can improve my website by adding a certain thing that engages the audience that thing can be by adding the game of the month so the audience knows that a certain game is worth buying because it was voted the best game for that month. Also to make my website more interactive I can add more games so there’s a wider range and the audience can enjoy it more. I can also improve my logo as it is not as interactive.

I can further develop my website by adding music to my website as It makes it look much more professional and more interactive also I am trying to avoid using the seif web plus because it always lagged and froze and it didn’t work numerous times. So in the future, if ib was going to design another website I will use a better website and I will add music and create a better logo.
