Some of the information already studied, for example, with rates in today’s society being at one the highest points its ever been it difficult to judge the life span of a person. According to a website by the name ecology, though there are roughly 15,000 births each hour there are roughly 6,300 deaths each hour. Not to count the populist of the animals, other than by humans and other causes the animal population has been cut in half. A good portion of humans depends on nutrition and protein from animals. The human population will not survive when the animal populist drops to nothing.

The human race will be the deciding factor of the unexpected and coming future. Consequently, human extinction may be hypothetical at best, though the exponential risk due to overpopulation alone is alarming. However, overpopulation is just one of several possibilities of human extinction, nothing should be counted out. At our current rate the animal population will drop little to nothing as it already has. If the human race doesn’t start to depend on themselves won’t survive next 100 years.

Just imagine how animal cruelty is available at local stores. The United States processed approximately 330.4 billion animals for human consumption (North American Meat Institute 2018). Dr. Temple Grandin, the owner of Grandin Livestock Handling Systems, Inc, created a restraint system for livestock to be slaughtered reducing risk of stress and injuries (Grandin 1975). Dr. Grandin’s goal is to keep the animals calm without having the adrenaline, known as fight or flight, flow through the body making the meat tough. For anyone who works with livestock or carnivores should rethink how it could have been done to them.

The majority of the human population eats meat in which, can be contaminated with salmonella or cancer. Humans should keep in mind, the animals eat grass or hay for strength and nutrients. Everyone should understand where they can gain most nutrients to promote better health. Dr. Fuhrman’s previous researches demonstrated, “plant protein is beneficial and animal protein is harmful”(Dr. Fuhrman 2018). Humans are able to obtain more nutrients through fruits and vegetables. Consuming meat is a contributor to vascular damages, cardiovascular disease. Keeping in mind, these diseases, travel from animal to person. If humans continue to consume meat as a source of protein then the death rate will continue to increase. Which will force humans to make different decisions on how to obtain protein or other nutrients.

Nevertheless, it is important to understand a direct source of nutrients is better than killing a harmless animal. Lentils, whole grains and even beans are amazing direct sources of protein. Changing eating habits will help your body be more productive. Allowing it to gain all nutrients to nourish and live a longer life. The human population should take into consideration why it is necessary to take care of yourself and natural surroundings.
