Fitrah Argument

Every human being in his/her subconscious mind knows that there is a Creator who has created him/her and Whom they return to or seek help from in times of difficulty. It guides them about right and wrongdoings. Fitrah means that humans are born with the concept of the Oneness of God. In my opinion, the above argument is restricted to religious believers or those who believe in the consciousness of mind. As it has no physical proof of its existence.

Design and Designer

Every created thing has a creator. Everything around us from the smallest (atoms) to the largest (universe) shows a very complex structure. Such complex structure cannot come in to existence on its own. Even a small thing as a piece of paper has a creator/designer so how come such a humungous universe with such precision and accuracy came into existence without any Designer. Furthermore, the precise and accurate timing with which planets are orbiting the sun, moons orbiting the planets, day and night happening without any interference with one another are signs showing that there is only One Creator – God. The One who has brought all of these great creations into existence.

Religious Perspective

In all of the religions with the majority of followers, it is the concept of One Supreme God that is the basis and fundamental pillar of the different religions. Even the religions believing in more than one God ask guidance and help from the God of gods. The different books of these religions mention Oneness of God – The Supreme. But the followers do not seek guidance from the book rather from the teachers of the religions. Through the comparative study of different religions, we can see that prophethood, prayer(dua) and miracles are common beliefs. In my opinion, the point regarding religious perceptive is limited to group of people believing in some form of religion but excludes those who do not believe in any religion.

Scientific Reasoning

In my opinion, the argument regarding scientific proof is the most important. As it compels to a bigger audience. By that what I mean is scientific proof are not just for the people following a particular religion who may or may not believe in God but for those who completely deny the existence of God, the Atheists. Following are few of many examples of scientific proofs of the existence of God Today science has advanced to such a level that many things told in The Glorious Quran 1400 years ago are being proved by science as truth after many inventions and observations. So, without any of the inventions 1400 years ago only the Creator could Have given the knowledge of His creations to mankind.

The start of the universe

Today science agrees that the most valid theory to the existence of the universe is The Big Bang Theory. The Big Bang Theory states that it all started from a point of mass that blasted into the ever-expanding universe. Science was able to discover it in 1929 when Edwin Hubble created the Hubble telescope and observed the movement of different galaxies. But before any of these inventions took place, 1400 years ago The Glorious Holy Quran mentions this in Surah Anbiya Verse number 30 “Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the Earth have meshed together then We ripped them apart? And then We made of water everything living? Would they still not believe? Now how come without any of the inventions in astronomy was Muhammad (P.B.U.H), the messenger 0f Allah (S.W.A) able to have knowledge of the creation of the universe? Unless the Creator Himself bestowed the knowledge. Furthermore, in the above paragraph, there is a mention of point of mass from which it all started. But the question that comes to mind is where the point originated from? Because mass cannot be created nor destroyed. Logically either someone placed the point there or it came to existence on its own. The first point makes more sense as something cannot come into existence from nothingness. So, who placed the point there? The only answer to this question that comes to mind is Some Higher Power – God.

Laws of universe

Presently, science agrees after a thorough observation of solar system that sun is not stationary but a couple decades ago it was believed that the sun is stationary. The Glorious Holy Quran 1400 years ago mentioned the movement of the sun on its orbit and around a center in the following verses of Surah Yaseen: “And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing” [Ya-Seen 36:38] Furthermore, the Earth is at the perfect position in the galaxy, having perfect atmosphere and exact temperature for the existence of living organism. Earth temperature is around -30 to 120 degrees depending upon the location on the planet. But if it had been a bit further from the sun it would been too cold for life to exist on Earth. A bit closer to sun the temperature would have been too hot. The moon orbiting around the sun is of the perfect size and distance from Earth for its gravitational pull which is controlling the ocean tides. All of this could not have been done without a Higher Super Power. Water Another great creation of God is water. Water is one of the most important and essential elements for life. Our body is made up of 75% of water. Water is completely colorless, it has no smell what so ever. Only on Earth a system is in place that manages to separate salt from ocean water as 90% water on Earth is in oceans. The Quran mentions about water in following verses: “In the water which Allah sent down from the Heavens and brought with it life to Earth after being dead and gave life in it to every kind of land animal; And in directing the winds; And in the clouds that are enslaved between the Heavens and the Earth; [All these] are Signs for a people who comprehend”. [Quran 2.164] Today science knows the importance of water through different complex experiments and observations but 1400 years ago without such inventions it was all mentioned in The Glorious Holy Quran.

The human body

The complete human body is in itself a great complex creation. The mind is the one most important element of body that allows the body to think, feel and reason. The Holy Quran mentions the concept of free will in many places. Free will refers to the complete freedom of thinking and acting upon the thoughts that come to the mind. Other elements, the veins, nervous system which extends to the length of twice the circumference of Earth, the cells and immune system of the body, self-healing of skin shows that creation of such great structure is beyond the limits of human reasoning and that it could only be related to a Supreme Power – God.

Timeline of a Birth

The Glorious Holy Quran mentions the origin of birth and the growth of the child inside the mother’s womb in the following verses and at many places: “We have created you from…something which cling “(22:5) “We have created the sperm into something which clings “(23:14) “Was (man) not a sperm which has been poured out. After that he was something which clings, then (God) fashioned him in due proportion “(75:37-38) “We cause whom We will to rest in the womb for an appointed term” (22:5) “We have fashioned the thing which clings into a chewed lump of flesh and We fashioned the chewed lump of flesh into bones then We clothed the bones with intact flesh “(23:14). Today science, through observation of a mother’s womb with help of the latest inventions, completely agrees with all of the processes mentioned in Holy Quran related to the birth of the child and its growth inside the womb so the question arises that how come Holy Quran was able to give exact details of this process 1400 years ago when there were no such inventions in the medical field? This means only the Creator who has complete knowledge was able to provide it through His Book for the guidance of His creation.
