If you need more of your Maybelline makeup, perhaps while you are at the store purchasing it, you can pick up some colgate toothpaste because you ran out and post-it notes for an upcoming project. Like many people, you fail to think about how this product was made to be or if there was ever animal testing involved. Many people are not aware of the products used on a daily basis involving animal cruelty. Animal cruelty Isn’t just hitting animals on purpose or not feeding animals. Even though most of the people believe think that animal cruelty is mostly found on the streets and at home, there are many forms of animal abuse. It’s also not just physically It’s also mentally, some significant contributors to animal abuse around the world are, fishing, animal testing, and slaughterhouses, pen houses, product makes ect. There are about seventy million stray animals living in the U.S. Of this seventy million. Tumors, infection of skin and open wounds are commonly found on the street animals which go untreated and cause great suffering for the injured, these harsh conditions that street animals endure are major concerns in animal welfare today. Although methods of animal testing have drastically changed over time, it’s become a worldwide debate between animal rights activists, scientists and the people.

A Lot of the time people do things thats aren’t the smartest and are unfair and wrong. The suffering of animals can not outweigh the good for human. Many humans like to think that animals only exist to advance technology. But on the other hand they’re many people who don’t agree to that animals are here to be companions of others. Either way the fact remains that humans still continue to violate animals rights. It is wrong experimenting on living organisms that can’t defend themselves. Research coordinated by peter singer (1975) in his book Animal Liberation, supports the idea that animals have the right to live their lives free from suffrage. That just because they’re animals doesn’t mean we can use them as just our mistake takers. Animal testing started when galen, a greek physician who practiced in Rome, he did animal experiments to get an advanced understanding in anatomy. He used animals to testify his theory that veins carry blood rather than air. Animal rights can be very controversial because many people have their own opinion towards animals and if they should have a right. For example, In a research done by Wise S.M (2016) he explains about a principle of modern animal right, and it is that many non human animals have basic interests that deserve recognition and protection. Our animals can save lives so we should not subject them to animal cruelty.

There is so much disagreement as to whether non-humans have rights, and what is meant by animal rights. There is much less disagreement about the consequences of accepting that animals have rights. According to BBC Animal Ethnicity (2014) it says “Animal rights teach us that certain things are wrong as a matter of principle, that there are some things that it is morally wrong to do to animal’. Animals deserve equal concentration, animals have been such an important factor in human society because without them we wouldn’t have the scientific technology we have now. Animal rights are important because it gives animals a value a worth, instead of neglecting them. Animals help maintain earth’s natural environment, by predating upon plants and other animals. So animals are very important in our society so they deserve Rights. Once animals enter laboratory they lose all their rights. The fight against animal abuse began in 1824 when RSPCA (Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) was established in England. However, in 1876, the Cruelty to Animals Act was passed which allowed scientists to set in motion the testing of products on animals. We wouldn’t be able to use all The house luxuries we do today, such as toothpaste, cosmetics and even furniture, if animal experimentation not exist; but many people are starting to question the reasons and motives.

Although scientists and government officials tend to believe that animal testing is necessary for medical research, most tests performed are not useful, and to be honest, so many animals go through unnecessary torture often leading to death. A huge numbers of animal testing is uncalled for and must come to an end. Animal testings don’t predict adequately what would happen in humans. Researchers Could always replace animals by substituting non-animals, such as new computer models or biochemical or cell-based systems, for traditional animal models, or replace one animal species with a less highly developed one. , Ethel Thurston a researcher at NEAVS likes to conduct experiments with non-animals and the results are the same as with animals . One of the most common arguments against animal rights is that there are many predators in the wild who hunt and eat meat based prey. There have been many arguments that have been said animal rights have been very extreme, ”In the case of animal rights, say its adherents, there is nothing wrong with seeking solutions that are “extreme’ ” and far from the ordinary. In the united states, the “ordinary” treatment causes animals to suffer and die on factory farms, in laboratories on fur farms, in leg hold traps, in puppy mills, zoos and circuses.Extreme change is needed to save animals from these fates. Animal rights is an idea that every scientist being deserves equal consideration. That is that animals do not deserve to be treated lesser than humans. It stops from being abused, mistreated and also helps us to understand that they are beings like us. The idea of treating animals humanely is inexact, which means something different to everyone. According to Lin, D. research (2016) to animal rights activists” the main problem with this view is that humans do not have the right to use and exploit animals, no matter how well the animals are treated. buying, selling, breeding confounding and killing animals infringe on the animal rights no matter how humanely they are treated”. everyone looks at animal cruelty different than others people have there own idea on what is right and what ist. Just like some humans believe that there should be animal rights while others don’t animals rights activist is based on the idea that animals are sentient and that speciesism is wrong in which it can be scientifically backed. The reason people agree on animal rights is because they are influenced by animal activist. Why is one animal treated the most favored all pets, treated with compassion, united into our homes fed and sheltered, cared for and much loved while the other is confirmed to a cage, forced fed with antibiotics, the sow treated as breeding machines her offsprings slaughtered two to four months of age as she outlived her usefulness, used in experiments and as a source of spare parts. Animal rights activists and organizations are pressing agencies to come up with heavy restrictions on animal research, this out growing criticism of painful and cruel experimentation on animals is countered by a growing concern over the threat restrictions on the usage of animals that could pose to scientific progress.
