Communist Party

Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA), also called Communist Party USA is a left-wing political party in the United States that was founded in 1919. Until the later part of the 1950s, it was one of the country’s most important leftist organizations. Its membership reached its peak of 85,000 in 1942, just as America entered World War II. The CPUSA had rallied enthusiastically in favor of a Soviet-American war effort against Nazi Germany.

According to a true communist, they would shut down our empire abroad, and bring all our troops home from the dozens of countries they are in. This will keep us out of foreign issues and make sure that we will be safe at home in case another country tries to pull a fast one on us and sneak attack, like the attacks on Pearl Harbor. The military should be just large enough to defend the homeland but it would be very advanced and well equipped to be prepared for any situation. If you want to buy a gun good luck because it would be very hard. After all of the endless background checks and waiting, there is still a very small chance of acquiring a firearm.

When it comes to the economy, the wealth produced is shared among the people, based on their needs, rather than on their contribution to the work. If you live by yourself in a small home, but put in 40 hours of work in a very hard and dangerous work environment you might bring home less than a man who has 3 kids, lives in poverty, and barely works. Under communism, none of the buildings– such as factories and land – are owned by certain people. Instead, all people work together for the common good, not for profit. The result, in theory, is a classless society. To achieve this communist workers’ paradise, the capitalist system had to be destroyed through violence, according to Karl Marx industrial workers would rise up around the world and overthrow the middle class. Once the economic system of communism was established, governments wouldn’t be needed.

When it comes to Social Security communists call for a steeply graduated income tax and a steeply graduated estate tax, and a maximum income of no more than ten times the minimum. They also oppose regressive taxes such as payroll tax, sales tax, and property taxes. They call for the restoration of the capital gains tax and luxury tax on a progressive, graduated scale. Also, they call for compensation to communities, compensation, re-training, and another support service for workers– affected by plant and military base closings as stop-gap measures until we reach our goal of creating a socialist society totally separate from the global capitalist economy.

If I had to pick a party to join it would be the communist party. Even though I don’t believe in all of their beliefs, but who actually believes in all of a certain party’s beliefs and such. I like their views on gun control, but their economic ideas may need a little adjusting to fit modern society because people would not be okay with it.

If there were no political parties in the government almost nothing would get done. Nothing in congress, the Parliament, or the Supreme Court Etc. The way that our government is set up is people vote it’s a democracy. People are going to have different opinions on different things like the great debate on gun control, abortion, and labor and fairness laws. It would be total chaos.
