Universe: The Basics Of Cosmology

For my project, I decided to do the universe. Science and astronomy have been my favorite subject since I was 2. But when people think about astronomy they think about space. But space is just the beginning of astronomy. Even NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Key prefix: Aero! Aero equals flight. Not all science is space. I will tell you why I chose the universe for my project.

First off, I should tell you why I choose to do the universe. As I said before not all science is space. But first; before you jump to other subjects then you need to learn the basics. And I already knew a lot about the topic. So this project was rather straightforward. All of it was on the tip of my tongue.

Secondly, you should apprehend that the universe is boundless space. You also might think humans already have so much understanding about it. Incorrect! Humans only know about the matter! The matter is not all there is! There is also dark matter and another force called dark energy. Scientists and cosmologists are still trying to figure out what they are and what they are made of. Adding on to that there are black holes! Everything that gets sucked into a black hole goes someplace. But do we know where? Nope! There is still so much to comprehend. Also, there is a theory of white holes and alternate dimensions.

Thirdly, I am good at coding. When making a rocket people need to see what it would be like with different designs. And they can use coding for this! Coding is very useful. If humanity never used coding you would probably would not even be hearing me read this essay right now.

Fourth, people need medicine. You probably have heard about the COVID-19 outbreak. 1,000,000+ people have died in this outbreak. And that’s where science comes in! Scientists can study the virus and find ways to kill it. Unless they don’t and humanity has to face their fate.

In conclusion, I chose the basics of cosmology for 4 purposes. Because so little is known about it and it was easy for me. People are also looking for advancing to brand-new technology.
